Dr. Hsiu-Wen Liu, holds a doctorate from the Department of International Business and its affiliated research institute at the National Taiwan University, currently serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Business Management at Soochow University, Taiwan. She currently serves as the Executive Secretary of the Taiwan Marketing Science Association. Prior to this, she previously served as the head of the Business and Trade Program in the Extension Division of Soochow University, a part-time Associate Professor in Soochow University’s Institute of Big Data Management and Department of Data Science, a part-time Assistant Professor in the Department of International Business at National Taiwan University, and a guest lecturer in the Department of Business Management at Yuan Ze University. Additionally, she has also been a supervisor for the Taiwan Marketing Science Association. Her primary research focus encompasses marketing management, service marketing and management, consumer behavior, and overall business management. She once held a position as a visiting researcher at the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business. Over the years, she has published a multitude of scholarly articles in prestigious journals such as SSCI, SCIE, EI, and TSSCI. Beyond her contributions to academia, Dr. Liu has also chaired numerous research projects for the National Science Council and has been an esteemed reviewer for several international journals. In terms of accolades, she was honored with the Best Paper Award from the Quality Journal (EI) in 2018 and clinched the award for Best Practical Research Paper at the Soochow University Technology Integration Conference in 2014. Recognizing her dedication and prowess, Soochow University awarded her both the “Dedicated Mentor” and “Outstanding Mentor” titles during the 103rd academic year. She has been honored as a member of the Phi Tau Phi Scholastic Honor Society. Stepping beyond the bounds of academia, Dr. Liu has been a vital member of the evaluation panel for Taiwan’s Premier Brand Marketing Division since 2010. In recent years, she has also been actively involved as a review committee member for the Taipei City Government's Digital Transformation Initiative. Since 2017, she has been instrumental in curating and teaching the Big Data course at FamilyMart, a leading convenience store chain, and has also guided various digital transformation projects for the company. Alongside this, she has lent her expertise as a lecturer on big data analytics, membership marketing, and management at renowned institutions and corporations such as EVA Air, Wan Hai Lines Ltd., CaiMeng Corporation, and the Taiwan Specialty Mall in Nanjing.
